Carne con Papas – Mexican Style Beef and Potatoes Stew
Ingredients :
-3 Lbs Beef Flank Steak cut into small chunks
-4 Tbsp Avocado oil or cooking oil of your choice
-1 Tbsp Pepper
-1 Tbsp Salt or Garlic Salt
-2 Cups Pico de Gallo (diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeño or Serrano peppers and finely chopped cilantro)
-6 Potatoes Peeled and cubed
-27 Ounces of El Pato Hot Sauce
-3 Cups Water
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add beef and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine and cook meat for about 7 minutes.
3. Add pico de gallo, stir to combine and sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Add potatoes and stir to combine.
5. Add El Pato Sauce, water and stir to combine.
6. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover skillet and simmer for 15 to
20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
