Salmon And shrimp – Pucad Recipes
Introduction
Salmon and shrimp are two beloved seafood options that are not only delicious but also packed with nutrients. This recipe combines the flavors of Cajun seasoning, garlic, and parmesan cheese to create a dish that is sure to impress your taste buds.
Ingredients
– 1 lb salmon
– 1/4 lb shrimp
– 3 tsp Cajun seasoning
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1/4 tsp red crushed pepper (optional)
– 1/2 tsp lemon juice
– 1 tbsp fresh parmesan cheese, grated
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Start by seasoning the salmon with 2 tsp of Cajun seasoning, and the shrimp with 1 tsp of Cajun seasoning.
3. Heat a large skillet with some oil over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon for 1-2 minutes on each side, starting with the skin side down. Once seared, transfer the salmon to the oven and bake for 7 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, in a separate skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp for 40 seconds on each side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
5. To the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red crushed pepper (if using) and cook for 20 seconds.
6. Stir in the lemon juice, heavy cream, and grated parmesan cheese. Allow the mixture to cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Once the salmon is done baking, pour the creamy sauce over both the salmon and shrimp.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness in this dish by increasing or decreasing the amount of red crushed pepper you use. You can also add your favorite herbs or additional seasonings to customize the flavor to your liking.
