Ingredients

– 2 pounds pork rib tips
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup honey
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– Salt to taste
– Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
– Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get ready for the magic that is about to unfold in your kitchen.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if you’re feeling adventurous.
3. Grab a large bowl or a resealable bag and place the pork rib tips inside. Pour the marinade over the rib tips and make sure they are coated evenly. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or, even better, overnight to enhance the flavors.
4. Heat up the vegetable oil in a skillet or roasting pan over medium-high heat. Take the rib tips out of the marinade, keeping any excess marinade to the side. Sear the rib tips in the hot oil until they are nicely browned on all sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).
5. Pour the reserved marinade over the rib tips in the skillet or roasting pan. Season with salt to your liking.
6. Cover the skillet or roasting pan with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Let it bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until the rib tips are tender and cooked through, basting with the marinade occasionally.
7. Once the rib tips are cooked, remove the foil and switch the oven to broil. Broil the rib tips for an additional 2-3 minutes until they caramelize and get a bit crispy at the edges.
8. Take the rib tips out of the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving. Top them off with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for some extra flair. Serve hot and enjoy the deliciousness!

Notes

– Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your preference. You can add more cayenne pepper if you like it spicy or cut back on the honey for a less sweet flavor.
– These pork rib tips make great leftovers for lunch the next day. Simply reheat them in the oven or microwave for a quick and tasty meal.
